Casa Sofia is an ancient residence in the historic centre of Carloforte, on the first floor of a recently renovated by an architect who has retained its original characteristics stately home maintaining its original features, such as walls made by stone, high ceilings, furnitures and antique floors, creating an environmental with soothing colours that invite the holiday. The all on one level structure consists of five suites, each one of them with private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, mini-bar, air conditioning, coffee table, and balcony (galaia as the local people call). Four of the suites, AMBRA, LUNA, ANGELICA, and GIADA, share the entrance, the dining room and an equipped kitchen; the fifth Suite, PANDORA, has an independent entrance and a private dining area with a small well-equipped kitchen. From the balconies of the rooms, you can enjoy the view on the typical "carruggi" (alleys) of the village, breathe in the scents of the wood in the winter chimneys, and feel the sea breeze and the experience of the village in summer. The booking method is flexible making it possible to rent the whole residence (12+2 guests or 12+5 guests) or each separate suite (from 1 to 3+1 guests).

The residence
Casa Sofia, located on the first floor of a historic building, has a comfortable living area, which is structured with a sharing kitchen and a dining room serving four Suites (one double, one triple and two quadruple) each one with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, electric kettle, coffee table and galaia (typical balcony).
There is a fifth suite with an independent entrance, a private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, equipped kitchen and table.

A tour in the surroundings
Casa Sofia remains a walking distance of the church of San Carlo Borromeo, the most central area of the country. A few steps from the residence you will discover “Piazza della Repubblica” (the main square in the village) or the “Piazza dei Quattro Alberi” (Four Trees Square), named by the community of the island because of the four majestic centuries-old ficus. For those who love walking and “getting lost” in the alleys of the town, or shopping in the typical shops of the town, Casa Sofia is perfectly located.
